It’s been almost two years since we last spoke, and I have to say I’m a little disappointed in myself. I rediscovered this page in the archives of my computer and decided it was time to jump back in. I went on TWO amazing road trips last month, with another (much bigger) one to come next month, so needless to say I have lots to share!
I’ll start with recap of 2020. As we all know, COVID is a thing. For me, I had moved back to New Hampshire to finish off my associates degree in 2019, and in March of 2020 I was on spring break at my parents house in the DFW. Well, it was the spring break that never ended. It started in March when my family went on an RV trip to the Gulf, before things got really bad.

We extended our trip when we realized that my brother and I were not going to be going back to school for another week or two. Little did we know, it would be over a year before things were remotely normal again. We took our little quarantine bus (aka RV) back to the DFW and a couple of months later I decided it was time to go get my stuff. So I flew back to New Hampshire, and one of my best friends and I drove my tiny Mazda 2 from New Hampshire to Texas with basically my entire life packed into it. (I mean she was literally sitting on her suitcase) Once I moved all of my stuff, it was time for some more family adventures. So, we loaded into our quarantine bus and hit the road.
In the Summer of 2020 my family and I took our RV from Dallas, TX to Kalispell, MT, and back again. If I tried to recap that whole trip, it would take three blog posts. They say a picture tells a thousand words, so we’ll tell the story this way instead!
I hope you enjoyed that photo dump. The trip had it’s highs and lows (and hospital visits – not pictured) but it brought us so close as a family, and was a great way to finish off single life, and life as a Huntting! That leads us to our next big 2020 adventure…
There were a few small trips in between, but in October of 2020 I took a trip to New Hampshire, and married the absolute love of my life! My husband, Justin and I went to Sandals Jamaica for our honeymoon, so of course, here are some photos from our trip and the wedding!
So there you have it! My 2020 in a post. For most, it was a year of tragedy. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who know how to make the best of every situation. My 2020 could’ve been horrible. Instead, we did everything we could with the cards we were dealt, and it turned out to be a pretty great year. Look out for my next couple of posts where I’ll be talking about my trips to San Antonio, Austin, and Galveston!
Much love to ya’ll!
