Welcome to My Blog!

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.

— Hellen Keller.

Hey There! My name is Kati and I’m 18 years old. In my (short) lifetime, I’ve lived in three different states, traveled to and through several other states, as well as been to three countries other than the US. From Florida to New Hampshire to Texas, I’ve experienced life in three different regions of the US. Although I’ve only ever lived in the United States, the cultural differences just between northern and southern America are massive. My family has always been the type to travel, and encourage me to venture out on my own and explore new places as well. I’ve been on family trips, trips with friends, travelled by myself, and even trekked cross country with my high school marching band of 300 musicians. I have experienced traveling by car, plane, train, boat, and bus. Each mode of transportation brings entirely new experiences and challenges. Although most of my travel is for fun, I’ve also traveled for conferences, as well as social work in a third world country. I hope my experiences can inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and go somewhere new. Always remember, the hardest part of going somewhere new is walking out your front door!
